Backups

Backups snapshot your server's save data so you can restore after a crash, a bad update, or a griefing incident. Manage them from a server's Backups tab.

Creating a backup

Click + Create backup, type a name and confirm. The new backup appears in the list with its size and timestamp.

Automatic backups

• Daily backups — created automatically twice a day. Removed after 7 days.
• Backup before update — a safety backup just before each game update.
• Backup before shutdown — a safety backup before a stop or restart.

Toggle these on the Backups tab. To keep an automatic backup permanently, use Convert to manual.

Restoring

• Click Restore on any backup of the same game type (this overwrites the current save and stops the server).
• Restore from another server pulls a backup from a different server — cross-machine restores are synced with Syncthing.
